I joined AB a few weeks ago, it seemed to be a good informative site along with a bit of fun on chatter. I've switched on to the site at different times day and night not always to use/ comment, just to see what's of interest/ topic, and who's posting/answering.
There seems to be at least 8 names that are always on here day and night.
I just wondered if these few people are in anyway housebound for what ever reason, or just prefer electronic contact/ friends, apposed to face to face human contact, the latter being only the ones on here most of the day and night, as the internet is a great way of contact with other people that are miles away, and the chances of seeing them is slim anyway.
Could it be that some people just like to receive messages/ text and replies for whatever reason, or is technology turning some people into becoming partly recluse?

I can. It could just be that they want to make sure that you have received and understood what they want to tell you. I rarely make phone calls unless there is a reason. I don't usually phone somebody just for a chat. It's normally because I want to tell them something or want to ask them something. Sending a text is not a way to ensure you have been received and understood. Mind you, if it's just waffle and drivel you want to transmit I suppose it doesn't really matter all that much.

If i'm one of them, I usually come on here about 11.00 ish your time whilst I trawl through my work emails, stay on til those and any ordering, phone calls etc I might need to do is done, hop off and get some real world time with my fam, drop back on to see what needs tidying up at the end of the day then hop off again and finally often jump onto Mamya's Goodnight music thread. I don't actually spend that much time here just hop on and off throughout the day when I'm already working on the computer.
If i'm filming or Mr Cal is home I'm rarely on at all.

If you have taken the time to join AB, and you admit that you switch on to the site at different times day and night, just to see what's of interest/ topic, and who's posting/answering, and have also come to the conclusion that there seems to be at least 8 names that are always on here day and night.
Can I ask if you are also housebound or maybe turning into recluse?
And can we now add your name to those who will also be on here day & night?
