Enter further question details here...assault on a child are three separate assaults on a child aged four a summary offence, ie assault has a six-month time limit on reporting, is assault on a child the same?
Answers
All summary offences (with one or two exceptions which do not apply here) have a time limit of six months for a prosecution to begin. Note this is not a limit on "reporting" as you suggest. The time limit relates to the commencement of court proceedings.
