Just received in the post from Amazon a 30 day free trial of Prime Video. One year subscription £79.00. Of particular interest is the Live Sport Feature as that includes Premier League matches with specific mention of 20 matches over the Christmas Holiday.
Does anyone have any experience of this service? I have tried to find out if Live Sporting events are an all year round feature and in particular do they always have Premier League football?
The other thing I would like to know if the Yearly amount would be money well spent?

Is it just video or all of Prime? I get Prime for the deliveries and PV is included. I reckon Prime is a good deal for me, I save way more than the Prime cost in fuel and parking fees and shipping and handling and then on top there is PV . I have had a dig around and it looks like there is no info on what Amazon will do next year. here's a useful item about this year though...

The footy service is only in December...I think they are trialling it, to see if it "goes". They also do ATP tennis.
I have the yearly subscription....and consider it good value. Mind you we do order lots from amazon and I value the guaranteed next day delivery. Also, there are lots of exclusive TV series, movies, videos, music service (like Spotify)....and quite a bit more. Not bad for £6.58 a month.
I'm a couple of months into my first paid year & have *so* much lined up to watch, I wish days were 36 hours long! :-)

It's the first time I've seen the Premier League available (not noticed ads for it before, I mean) & I *think* they have other sports on (boxing, F1? - not really sure, tbh - I wouldn't be interested, nor have I looked for them) but that they're on top of the subscription.

Obviously you also get free delivery on purchases when available & I will be paying extra for progs that aren't included, but feel it's money well-spent for me - for you? You need to delve into what's available & decide if there's enough to keep you happy.

I love amazon prime, I get loads of stuff delivered and my kids all use the tv service. I share amazon family with my eldest son so he can buy stuff but I can’t see what he’s bought and he can’t see what I’ve bought. I recently paid 99p for an Echo Dot by having a one month trial of Amazon music.
I have prime video and to be honest I've only watched maybe a dozen films and all the tennis in the 6 months i've had it. Watched the Andy Murray video.
It is hard to say if it warrants the cost.
....US Open also included at no extra.
As L-iK says...it depends on your wants/needs/wishes. I also have a "watch-list" that could keep me going till this time next year! (and have never paid extra over my yearly sub).
if you go for the free trial cancel it before the end date or you will be charged for the following month
Yesterday, on going on to the Amazon page I noted they were offering 3 months Amazon Prime for £11.99. As well as being offered 20 Premier league games from 3-5 Dec and 26-27 Dec, I thought it was a good offer seeing as Christmas is almost upon us, and they offer free delivery with most items.

I immediately signed up, as I believe it's only being offered for just a few days. I'll have to remember to cancel before 29 March 2020 or it will revert to £7.99 per month, and not the current £4.00.
While my interest in football is limited I took the trial a while ago and found the available selection quite weak. I rebinged Person of Interest dabbled with a few other things then cancelled.

Returning to this thread. I decided to take advantage of the trial offer.
Well please with the footie but wished it would be available for a longer period than the holiday. Sunday evening I was unable to watch as each video I started started and stopped continually buffering (I think that is the word). A message appeared on the screen "Something went wrong try again later.) I tried to follow this up with Amazon and after a lot of typing on the online chat Amazon response was "not enough band width speak to your broadband supplier (TalkTalk). Today I called TalkTalk, what a terrible waste of time. I lost count how long I spent holding on and in the end I hung up still not sure if anything can be done to deal with lack of band width. Any ideas??
