Vacuum Cleaner

Have just weighed my horrible vacuum - it weighs 1stone and and 2lb. (Upright) -

I have banished it to upper floor and bought myself a "stick" vacuum. Recieved it last Friday - it is doing the job ok. For only 4 or 5 mats - rest wooden floor.

Ael - every now and again the heavy one will hoover upstairs - mind you - not too often. It's a bloody ton and I am riddled with fibromyalgia and am getting old, frail and puny (puny - as if).

yes Bobbi - have lost a pair of new reading glasses so living room was gutted out on Saturday. Under the cushions of the sofa is spotless and also chairs - no sign of the ruddy glasses. I know they're in the house somewhere cos I don't take them out.

I've got a GTech, and a Shark. The shark is best for cleaning, but it's too damn big and cumbersome for me.

I have a Miele cat and dog and it weighs even more than that - it's really hefty to lug about although it's brilliant for cleaning. Opposite to you I bought a cheap stick cordless for upstairs.

I know how you feel JJ - I bought a Dyson cordless and so thrilled at how light and manoueverable it is I wanted to tell everyone. I heard of someone who felt the same and insisted her visitors " had a go " with hers she was so pleased with it !
