Alexa Playing The Wrong Songs?

Hello, I'm having a problem using my Echo Dot, I have linked my Spotify account to the Dot but when I ask Alexa to play a specific track it repeats back to me what I ask it to play but plays something totally different, for example I added a track to my 'July 2020' playlist, Bryan Ferry 'Let's stick together', I ask Alexa to play Flock of Seagulls 'I ran' and it just plays Bryan Ferry 'Let's stick together' over and over, it is the same for any other track I ask for. Help! Thank you.

It may sound stupid but have you tried unplugging and starting again?

I googled it and found this advice.

'There is no definitive fix for the errors, but a good start to troubleshooting the problem is to reboot the speaker. Then unlink your Spotify account and sign in again.

To unlink Spotify, open the Amazon Alexa app and go to Settings > Music > Spotify. Tap Disable Skill and confirm by tapping Disable. Next, tap Enable to use and follow the instructions to log in to your account again.'
