Good - absolutely the correct decision, and Stonewall and other groups can whine as much as they like, but for any normal thinking person, it is an absolute absurdity that an 18 stone blindside can declare he’s identifying as a woman and play in a woman’s team. He’d always be winning the game single-handed.
Maybe there should be minimum/maximum height and weight restrictions in contact sports for men and women.
Also a ban on breast implants if contact sports is a risk in that aspect (I don't know, but a woman was banned from boxing in the Olympics because she had implants and it was considered to be too risky).
Absolutely the correct decision. Transgender women, regardless of where they are in their transition, still retain a male muscle mass, and to include them increases the risks of injury to cis players.
It's not a decision based on politocs, it's one based on safety.
To clarify, og, this is about "transgender" not transsexual. My answers would remain the same... but I think you are thinking these people have at least had an op and hormones, etc.
