Wood Or Coal Burner?

I've recently moved house and taken on an Efel Montana burner. It's relatively large (too large for the room it's in to be honest), but we've replaced the broken glass and all the rope seals, etc. It's a top loader, but we're unsure if it's a wood burning stove or intended for coal burning and can't seem to find any information on it. Anyone any ideas?

Some of them will take both coal and wood, as you will see if you google the name. Wood would be a safe bet in the absence of certainty and also ecologically better.

Wood burners have a bad name at the moment because of particulate emission, and coal burners are probably just as bad. I recommend that you search online for more info on this.

If you have no ecological reason for using it, I suggest you don’t, and get rid of it (or just don’t use it).
It will be an expensive, dirty and inconvenient source of heating - there are much better alternatives.

Nooo don’t get rid of it we love our multi fuel burner which is also too big for the room it’s in, we just open the door and let it heat the rest of the house
