Bg Cub1 Bell Transformer

I am trying to wire a video doorbell, and would be grateful for help as to where the wires go on the transformer, there's the live and neutral coming into the bottom of the transformer, I have connected one wire to 0 but does the other wire go to the 8v, 12v or 24v?

You've not told us the make and model of your video doorbell. They're not all the same!

If it happens to be a Nest Hello model, it will work with anything between 12V and 24V DC. So either the 12V or 24V terminal would be OK. (I'd opt for the 12V one myself). If it's any other model, from the dozens of different ones widely available, read the manual or post here again with the information.

If that's the case, the description there says '8/24V', so any of the three terminals should provide a suitable supply.

The doorbell is "X SMART HOME WIRELESS VIDEO DOORBELL"
Many thanks for all your replies so far, am I correct that one of the wires going to the bell from the transformer, goes on the 0, and the other wire goes into one of the other slots?

Looking at the video below shows that the doorbell runs on two 3.7 volt batteries. (i.e. it runs on 7.4 volts). It would seem logical to me then to use the 8V supply from the transformer.

As you're using DC, rather than AC, the polarity of the connection might be important. (It's not with Next doorbells but it might well be with others). If, as you say, the transformer has 0V and 8V terminals, but the doorbell only has positive and negative ones, connect 0V to 'negative' and 8V to 'positive'.

Thank you Buenchico, I connected the doorbell via the USB socket while I was working out the correct connection, and it worked fine, but I can't connect it via the USB when it is connected to the outside of the door
