Sound On Our Older Sony Smart Phones - Help Please!
3 Answers
I have an Xperia XA1 Compact and my wife an Xperia Z3 Compact and we find the sound very poor although I have set them to maximum volume on calls.
We are elderly and decided to get rid of the landline as we rarely used it so now when the children ring we cannot use the landline speaker facility we used to.
We are happy with Sonys in every other respect but I have noticed when we are out and about and people are on their more modern phones they hold them well away from their faces and we can hear everything! Is this because they are more modern or full size phones and is there anything we can do to improve ours? Are there smaller modern phones?
Thanks

That's probably because they've turned the loudspeaker on! When making or receiving a call, there will be a little loudspeaker icon somewhere on your phone's screen. Tap it to enable the 'hands free' mode that the people you see are clearly using. You'll then be able to annoy everyone on the train, or wherever you happen to be, with your loud conversations ;-)
