I dripped some blue food die onto some white roses. after about an hour I noticed the spots of blue food die had changed and now appeared purple and metallic. I'm interested to learn what causes this to happen?
I took photos but I can't see a way to attach images to my question...

I don't know why that would happen, sorry, but I'm going to give it a try myself.
I think it would be fun to be creative with the food dyes on white flowers.
