I liked the last suggestion to drive the Queen along the route.
I really hope that everyone who has queued or is queuing takes away their special moment that will remain with them for the rest of their life. I admire them all.
That was funny.

It’s quite a strange thing to do when you think about it. I’ve never gone to look at anyone’s coffin before the funeral, why would I want to queue for hours go and look at a Queen’s for a few seconds?

So do I choux..I envy those who go. Daughter and her partner hope to go tomorrow night...and I'm going to try to catch them on the live stream.
I’m sure everyone who goes will have a great memory of the moment.

Thanks choux...fingers x'd x
Also liked the one about someone's Gran who joined a queue once even though she didn't know what it was for and came away with Emlyn Hughes ( I think it was ) autograph and she had no idea who that was!
Overnight is probably a good time to go. I was going to do that tonight but bottled out. Might go tomorrow
How come I can't read the article. I'm being asked to sign in to the Guardian. I don't want to.

Thanks Pasta. Got it.
Sorry, know it might not be kind or pc, but I loved the one about the people at the end of the queue viewing Charles' coffin.
Just thought of something else to do with queuing. The first time my husband and I went to Lancaster many years ago, we joined a long queue to go round the castle. After waiting for quite a while, we got to the front of the queue and were asked for our visiting order. We hadn't realised that in those days it was a prison.
So did I, Kustard.
Yes, only in Britain! Mind you, husband and I once waiting to book in to hotel in London, next in queue, enter a bus load of Japanese and we found ourselves almost out of the door!
