I've posted this here, as there doesn't seem to be anywhere else! I've been off sick for a year and my brain needs a wake up call. I'm fairly intelligent (A level standard) and want to do a bit of home study - any ideas of some subjects I can read up on or some projects I could tackle. As interesting as possible, as I find I get bored very quickly. The resources I have access to are the internet & the local library, which is very good. I hope to make up some sort of timetable so I need a variety of topics.

I don't think we should advise you (or can) on "interesting" projects or subjects. this is a very individual thing.

my suggestion would be to think about what you'd like to learn more about, and then research into that area.

Assuming you're in the UK have a look at the Open University website. I'm starting a computing course soon.
