I don't know how to do this or how to interrogate the site. It's not in FAQ does anyone know the answer or how I can contact admin please?

You are allowed to answer your own questions so go back to your original question, which TTT has answered and type in the Answer box asking him to clarify his original answer.

Yes, it's worked in this post. What you need to do now is to go back to your first post and use the "answer" box to get TTT to explain further.

Incidentally, when TTT explains it you can give him "Best Answer" by just clicking on the red "Mark as Best Answer" at he top of the answer you think is best.
Only the person who starts a thread can award "Best Answer", so you will only see the option on questions you ask.
