I used to look on google maps and it showed me where I parked my car. But now it shows where I parked my old car 5 months ago at local garage. Anyone know how to change this. I’m about tearing my hair out trying.

It's not clear to me as to hat you're trying to do. Google Street View images only get updated when one of these drives down the street:

By default, the latest available image should always be shown. If any other images are available though, 'see more dates' will be shown in the box at the top left of your screen. Clicking on it will show what's available to view. (For my house, for example, the default image is from March 2022, with the only other image available being from March 2009).

As the camera cars go along different streets on different dates, some images will be more up-to-date than others. So it's possible, for example, for someone to see their car parked outside their old address in one image but parked outside their new address in a different one.

I’m not sure what you mean either, a specially the bit about your old car.

thanks buenchico on my iphone it tells you places and addresses you have visited it also told you where you had parked your car. loads of different things times you were driving etc. but on looking where my car is parked it gives me address of where i parked at garage when we got new car 5 months ago. it shows on map exactly where i last parked. just cant get it set to new car details.

Ah, you mean your Google timeline? I get an email every month (to my .gmail account…..obviously) and I can click on any date to see where I was.

To do that, I open Google Maps when I park, tap on the blue pin that shows my location and then click 'save parking'.

I think you haven't tapped 'save parking' since you sold your car

if i ask Siri on iphone where i parked my car it comes up showing the old car sitting where i parked at garage 5 months ago. surely it should be showing new car as my iphone been connected to it.

i was using google maps dont remember ever tapping save parking but used to see where car was parked also how long ago. Zacs how does that work i would like that. Barry i will try what you said but dont know where to find it. im to old now i think for all this.

I get the timeline email every month too. If you open Google Maps, click Saved at the bottom and scroll down you will see the timeline icon

You have to have a Google account, giggsie. Very easy to set up from Google’s home page.

think i have a google account I had to sign in. my initials come up when i open maps it often says to insert a picture is that it? i cant seem to be able to scroll down as I open maps just shows my location
then share my location mark my location then report an issue that's it

Barry when i ask siri where i have parked my car i get the same answer as google maps referring to old car left at garage

According to that link you need to tell Siri to remember where you have parked when you park up.
