leave it on? I use Aussie, both shampoo and their Volume Conditioner and I'm never sure how long to leave it on.

in the shower, i wash my hair first then put conditioner on. then wash, then remove conditioner
Doesn’t it tell you on the bottle?
some of us have old eyes barry!
Question Author
barry it says, "Apply a generous squeeze, rinse with warm water and get ready to admire your aussomely volumised hair".

I do what you do bednobs since I now use a shower only as no longer have a bath.
I use Garnier Hairfood. Sometimes I rinse it out immediately, other times I'll leave it in for up to 20 minutes for more intense conditioning.
Question Author
What difference do you see and feel with the longer conditioning pasta please?
I wash in the same order as Bednobs.

I can only see the big text on the bottle.

I now need a magnifying glass to read through my original magnifying glass.
I wash hair, condition, wash the rest of me and then rinse it off.
I'm okay when he shampoo and conditioner bottles look different. Why can't they all be like that?
It seems to help more with frizz...my hair has trouble absorbing products so the longer time helps.
I usually leave mine on 1-2 minutes, just on the ends.
Wash hair, condition, wash me and rinse. My hair is becoming dry. Hairdresser has recommended towel dry, conditioner and leave on overnight with a shower cap on occasionally.

Same shampoo and conditioner bottles? I put an elastic band around the conditioner.
... as long as you can remember which one has the elastic band, gness!
There was that, Ellie til I thought....elastic band and conditioner both have c and d in. Shampoo has neither.

This showering business gets difficult with age. :-(
Oh no. Should I be using a conditioner?
Not if you're bald, Hoppy. ;-)
I've still got a full head of hair thanks. Would I look better with it conditioned, or is it a ruse by the companys to sell more stuff?
Aussie's own website doesn't seem to be specific about timing:

However Pantene's site seems to provide the answer that you're seeking. Quote:
"DON’T: RUSH IT!
We’re not suggesting you stand in the shower for endless minutes like you’re waiting for a bus, but it’s important to give your hair a minute or two to really absorb those moisturising ingredients. Use this time to squeeze in another in-shower job – a quick body wash or scrub will fill the time nicely!"

just get out your grandad's macassar oil, Hopkirk, and your grandma's antimacassar for the sofa.
