I've just gotten that message on my Samsung galaxy a10. "Your SD card isn't working correctly..."
But...I don't have an SD card in my phone. In fact, I don't even seem to have a space to insert one! Odd...as it seems I should. There are instructions in the user manual for it...and on the internet. Am I missing something...this is making me feel a bit stupid.
Blurry photo of where slot *should* be.

This from youtube may show you where sd card should go. (Not really solving your problem completely)

Your video is for S10...I've got A10. It's supposed to be on the side on mine. There's nothing...just a smooth edge all the way around. Except for where on/off and volume buttons are. Thanks for trying!
Sorry - is there no little pin hole?

samsung a10 install sim card
I can't help. My brother just gave me one of his old Samsungs and he told me how to insert the sim and sd cards.

How long should I leave it before asking him to repeat what he said? I might wait until he visits me!!
Even more sorry, that's not a link!

Willckeep trying
Umteenth time lucky?

Don't put an SD card in. They fail and you lose stuff you want to keep.

To get rid of this incorrect error message I would start by rebooting the phone.
If you don't have a card that's probably why it isn't working properly. The question is, why is it trying to access a card ? Installed anything recently ?
Does it have a dual SIM/SD tray where the cards sit next to each other?
Question Author
It's supposed to have a tray on the left hand side(if the screen is facing you)...there is nothing. I've looked at videos and photos + plus the user manual ...they all show it on the side. As seen in my photo...its not there. Now I'm more curious as to where the tray is...rather than the message I got! I'll ask in the local techie shop when I next pass it.
A better photo of the edge where it should be...

The top and bottom edges just have the usual spots for charging and jacks.
Where is your SIM card slot? Open that and see if it is a dual tray - it should be
pastafreak - It looks to me as though your phone is fitted with a protective case, possibly similar to this:
https://www.casemonkey.co.uk/products/classic-soft-silicone-case?variant=32683996676228&;currency=GBP
If so, you need to remove this to gain access to the SIM/SD card slot.

There is no slot Barry...or nothing I recognise as one. That's why I'm so confuddled by this.

Etch..AHHAAAA!!!!
I think you've got it!
Funny...nothing referring to that in the user manual.
That's made me laugh. Don't you remember putter the SIM in, pasta? The phone wouldn't have come with the case on
Question Author
Nope...I *think* SIM was put in in the shop. And it's always had this cover. In fact, some time ago I noticed it could come away...and thought 'oops, I'd better not move that'. So, I've never had any need to mess about with it. My hands are feeling a bit stiff right now...so I'll investigate it later. I've got to find the little removal tool too.
I quite sure I won't find an SD card though.
I feel a bit silly now. *rolls eyes*.
A straightened paper clip will do instead of the removal tool
If your phone came supplied with peripherals like the case it is possible that it also came with a SD card
