If you don't have confidence in the one you're with then you should try someone else

Yes.
If you are aren't happy with the one you are using then go for a different one, but it's worth asking around locally for recommendations before doing it.

We do get on just not sure why my driving not as goof as it use to be.
Perhaps you need to have more lessons.

Do you get practice away from these lessons or is that the only time you get to drive? It is probably rather a lot, surely they have told you why you're not ready for your test and what needs more work?

Lane disapline
A lesson approx every three weeks is not going to do you much good (if that is the only practice you get). You're going to be rusty every time you get in the car and probably take half a lesson to warm up.

Far better if you had had 18 lessons in 18 consecutive weeks. Practice makes perfect.
or try a intense training programme-maybe 3-4 lessons a week for a month
Have you ever stuck with anything in your life? Sensing a theme here, and maybe you should consider it is you not them that is the problem.
Maybe he doesn't like what you're wearing. Perhaps you could post links to a few outfits and we could advise

Yes I've been at a job for 5 years and like I said I changed from my last instructor as I moved away.
Maybe you need to turn up for the lessons and you might learn quicker. You said recently that you cancelled your lesson and took dog out for walk instead.

That was once missing one week won't make a difference
You've been at a job for 5 years? I thought you had worked at several jobs recently and were now a dental receptionist
Yes but on what you have said you only have 1 lesson on average once every 3 weeks. Not enough. They need to be more regular.
Oh, dear Abbey.
Try making a minor decision yourself!!
You never know, maybe it would boost your confidence.
