What Does The Car Wash Do To Your Car's Gas?

I was on near Empty Tank and I heard the car's Jingle saying 50 miles to E. Then As soon as I drove into a car wash, I heard another Jingle and then the 50 miles started decreasing to 35 within seconds.

What the hell did the car wash do to my car's gas?

barryallen1010 No I didn't! I just drove from 95th to 103rd street. when the Panel said 50 miles to E the whole time.

I thought you were joking initially percy but now think maybe not....the gauge/dial/counter or whatever will go down in steps of -maybe 15 miles at a time, you just past a threshold thats all and it clicked onto next. Its only a guide to warm you its time to put some fuel in

These metres are not that accurate, they can sometimes change depending on the ground and gradient to car stands on.
