I plug my phone in to charge and sometimes a notification comes up to unplug it as it has water in it but then I put it by window and it does charge. Why could that be?
I found that my phone would sometimes not charge depending on how the cable/connector was angled, turned out to be a small piece of fluff (from pocket I would think!) insidecthe charging socket of the phone. It would stop the connector going fully into the socket. I gently removed it with a with a toothpick. Could be that?
I've had that issue. I have come to believe it's sensor is far too sensitive as no water can be seen, nor has there been any incident which could have wet it. The only possibility I could think of is that it was detecting the air humidity. In my opinion it is a design flaw not caught before being marketed. It will decide it's dry enough to charge eventually, but that's little help when it's on 2% charge and you need to go out fairly soon.
