Buzzer Needed

I need a simple wireless buzzer/bell of some sort so that I can be alerted or summoned from not a very long distance in the same house, but several there several doors lying in-between.

We don't need to talk, but it should be two-way so I can buzz back to say 'message received'.

Can anyone recommend something like that please?

Our "landline" wireless phone has an intercom facility and three handsets

Two Google Nest Smart Minis will do that (and a lot more as a bonus) without lots of fuss. £50 inc VAT each at present, but may come down to £30 each for Black Friday soon.

Walkie Talkies,  was using them before Mobile phones.   it worked very well.

Thanks, I'll go for the walkie-talkie option, I see there's a cheap on 'for kids' which will suffice I think.

The problem with the battery powered walkie-talkie solution is that at least one will need to be permanently on, with unknown battery life; whereas two wireless doorbells would likely have a much longer battery life, albeit with a slightly greater initial outlay.

Canary: Thank you, but we already have have 2 of those, - & one is a Tibetan Buddhist bell (Tingsha)- very loud!  but the house is large & I'm a bit Mutt & Jeff & I don't always hear the bells & the calls from Mrs K.

It was possible throughout the summer when all the intermediate doors were open , but now with the central heating on, they have to be closed & it has become  a minor problem. I hope the walkie-talkie might solve the problem.

p.s. I have discovered that in French, a walkie -talkie is called a talkie -walkie 😄

Would it not be simple just to use two phones - Mrs.K would give say three rings without speaking and you would give three rings back to acknowledge - no charge. Could be landline to mobile or whatever.
