the back of my plastic back fell off the fabric of my typing chair - what glue should I buy - thanks

I’d try gorilla glue - besides being strong, it allows some flexing of the glued parts.

But whatever glue you use, you will need to clamp the surfaces together (during curing) to ensure a strong bond.

LOL - how will I clamp - my idea perhaps of clothes pegs - can't think of anything else except tightening or trying to tighten against the wall or ground with a heavy weight on it.  Might steal a break from my neighbour who is getting her front tarmacked so loose bricks etc.  Neighbour will know about it tho.  thanks for your answer

nah - not worth it

Permatex Silicone Adhesive works well on furniture, plastic, and fabric.
