Does anyone immediately know of one? I spent about half an hour in boots today looking at 20 million different toothpastes and didn't immediately find one

Try Holland & Barrett rather than Boots.

I've used the Aloe Dente one for many years. No floride either.

H&B sell it.

Do you use Biotene mouthwash, bednobs?  It gives me some relief, they also make toothpaste and mouth gel

I use a mixture of Listerine and corsodyl depending on how much it's hurting! I've never heard of that one you recommend I'll have a look

Sadly it's not cheap, I buy it when it's on 3 for 2 in Boots

i ordered some to try it, thanks

i also found a colgate one that doesnt have sls

I totally get the struggle! I had a similar experience at Boots when I was trying to find SLS-free toothpaste. I ended up liking Sensodyne and Tom's of Maine, as they both offer options without sodium lauryl sulfate. I also found that health food stores sometimes have a better variety if you want to explore more natural brands like Jason or Burt's Bees. It might take a bit of hunting, but there are definitely good options out there!
