For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Not that likely unless things change drastically, last year was amazing they were everywhere, this year he waxwings groups are being bombarded with newbies saying things like what date can I expect them, and wanting to know why we haven't got the high numbers ... Irruptions are very rare, only been about 3 in the last 25 years. Last year's was the biggest for over 50 years I believe. However there is a pattern with the northern berry crops, a very good year is followed by a bad one, this means they are more likely to spread further afield. I am hoping more will turn up next winter if this is the case.
