This group I go to on Tuesday sometimes with my friend it like a youth club they are going to Barry next week. I don't know weather to go as they meeting at train station for 10.30am so means I would have to book the day off and not sure it is worth it.

You only work 2 hours - go after you have finished work

Abbey, if YOU aren't sure it's worth it, how would we on AB know? Just toss a coin!

Question Author

My 2 hours are 8-10 so would need to get into town for 10.30 and get dressed.

join them a hour or 2 later - its not difficult

Abbey, surely you could manage that? Maybe you don't actually want to go and just want someone, anyone, to tell you not to bother?!

Question Author

No because it a group trip

For a day trip, casual clothes would be OK - just wear something suitable to work and you have half an hour to get to station.

Question Author

I got uniform for work.

No

Take change of clothes with you.

Could you not change clothes at workplace then?

Question Author

Yes I can but gotta be at station for 10.30

Look its not difficult, go and work your 2 hours, take a change of clothes in a rucksack and get the next train and join them after your shift.

Or don't go and work your 2 hours.

How far is that ?? get taxi?

How far is station from work? Cadge a lift or get a bus or taxi.

Are you all getting train to Barry? Change clothes in station toilets or on the train.

Question Author

Was going to change in work.

That eats into the time you've got to get to station.

Question Author

If I start 7.40 then can leave 9.40 then get 10.10 bus to town.

So you already have the solution to your question

Abbey, you do realise that all this doubt, hesitation is self- inflicted? If you want to do something, do it - once you've worked out 'how'. If you don't want to do something, just say 'no' and wait for something better/more suitable to come along. Life is much easier when you don't agonise over every decision!
