I think that's what Meghan and Harry accused the royals of when they said they were racist.
Anecdotal white privilege (from many years ago).
During my early school years, each class had around 3 students of Afro-Caribbean descent – the catchment area of the school holding a number of Afro-Caribbean immigrant families.
When I started my first job in a nearby town – the company was a large employer, having a large works canteen that I would estimate held over 500 diners. On first entering the canteen (which was over 90% full), it struck me that not a single person was non-white (not even any Asian staff).
I recall the above incident well; the group of new employees (that I was a cohort of) were already seated – as I exited the servy area, one of them waved to me from the table they were seated at.
On joining them, he said to me that I looked like a lost school boy, not seeing where they were. But I had noticed them; I was scanning the entire canteen, which to my surprise contained not a single non-white person – whereas I’d usually observe around 10% being non-white in an educational setting.

Why would you even think about it? It woud never cross my mind to do that. You actively seek non-white faces - which is tantamount to finding racism when there's no reason to seek it in the first place. People who do that create racism.

In defence of my former employer, the town in which they were located had a much lower non-white population (than where I lived) and most employees were from the local area.
Back in the mid 1970s car ownership was not as it is now (and people did not travel as far to work). In fact parking was limited, such that employee onsite parking was only available to staff who had been employed for more than 2 years (imagine such a restriction now).
