What Smart Tv For Old Tv Shows And Movies?
Hi,
My old LG LED 4K TV just gave up the ghost after nearly 12 years. It was a fantastic telly which looked amazing with standard tv stations, and also 4k content. However, it was also very good at converting old tv shows and movies on DVD. I just bought a LG QNED TV which has a terrible picture whatever you are watching unless its in 4k. Very pixelated, grainy or washed out. Old shows from the 70's, 80's, or 90's are especially bad though. My question is: which kind of modern smart tv is best for these old shows and movies? With all this Oled, Qled, QNed, mini led etc its very confusing. Is there a good upgrade you can recommend from the old standard LED from around 12 years ago which would be best for 720p or 1080p, or should I just go for a standard LED, if you can still get them? Thanks.

To achieve a similar experience as your previous TV, consider adjusting the brightness as a starting point.
