i had this a little while ago mine was because i had downloaded special effects (cant remember wot you call them) for when you send emails smileys thats it. This sent my computer wild so had to delete all the hotbars from thr computer and it has fixed it for me.. Not sure if this is whats causing yours but it definatly was what sent mine mad.

I have just done that funny enough. I have deleted them now.

When I tried the Smileys I found lots of spyware on my system... I wasn't smiling then! Now I just settle for a little :-)

That came out all wrong as well, 'cos the mouth was disconnected from the eyes and nose! It should've looked like: :-)

or you could make it look like:

There's a few different ways, and they're all spyware-free! And if you use Word, you can type in colon followed by a dash, which will give you a nice little smiley face (which you can then copy and paste into an email or whatever, if you like, though you may have to enlarge it to suit).

im not a pc boffin and alot of that stuff comes up on mine , what exactly do you need to delete, my daughter uses msn alot and downloads smileys do i remove them from add remove programs or off her user name..drives me mad also
