Does anyone know of any reference guide indicating the costs of accident damage repair for cars?

I have a Saab 2004 9-3 with rear accident damage. The boot lid has been destroyed, the rear panel has been severely damaged and the side rear panels damaged by the impact. I have no idea as to whether to make an insurance claim (and face higher premiums) or whether to pay for the damage myself.

The third party is unknown.

If the cost was less than �3,000 I think I would get the repair done myself. Any ideas as to cost? Regards and thanks
