have you cleaned your filter and can you hear the pump
A lot of machines have a mushroom valve at the 'open' end of the outlet pipe if this blocks up they won't be even try to pump, try undoing it from the sink drain (or wherever) and cleaning that, worked a treat on mine.
The outside drain could be blocked, and if the pipe into it is in the drain, (not above it) the machine could back up.
One thing you could try is to remove the hose that takes the waste water away from the main drum and check for a foreign body blocking the flow of waste water. I did this once when I had an intermittent problem with my machine not emptying and found a coin acting like a valve. Once removed the machine worked fine. good luck.
as the others said. do it in this order filter outlet hose, drain off at end of hose, pump. (easiest first.)
