We all love Better Off Dead, The Sure Thing, Breakfast Club et al. I'm trying to remember a film that was about a kid who starts college and I think there's some sort of caveman type person who he befriends. I can't really remember alot about it. It's not the film with Brendan Fraser and Pauly Shore. 80's films rock!!!! What are your favourites? How many questions can I ask at once???

Beverly Hills Cop, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitters Dead, Mannequin, Staggered, Clockwise, A Fish Called Wanda (or was that early 90s?), Trading Places - all fab films - I agree the 80s were the best, oh, and Adventures in Babysitting, Soul Man etc etc etc.....

I agree with the three you mention at top I love them but have never met anyone else who's seen better off dead. i loved secret Admirer, Adventures in babysitting, My science project, The Philadelphia Experiment - I could get lost in time with Michael Pare anytime phwoooahhh!!!!. Sixteen Candles, weird science and all the others mentioned by others. I have loasds of them on DVD now. The 80's were cool and last year I got Adventures i Babysitting and Just visiting (not 80's but so funny) for a fiver each in woolies. Short circuit and war games were cool too.
Only film type thingy I can think of was Stig of the dump, that had a caveman type person in a chalk pit.

Thanks for the nostalgia trip guys. I'm sure I'll find out what that film is one day. My sister and I were rockin' around the dining room the other day listening to the Top Gun soundtrack and forgot how 'so bad it's good' it was!! Also Lost Boys was amazing. Great soundtrack also. I think alot of those 80's had very underrated tracks featured in them. Aaah happy days....
