Most manufacturers of condensing boiler are now able to supply a flue kit that will allow the installation of the appliance providing there is an outside wall nearby. Flue kits can also be supplied with bends to facilitate most installations. Your local heating equipment supplier will be able to give you more information on indvidual appliances and their installation requirements.
I hope this helps

Ours is a gas boiler unfortunately.
Steve can I ask you another question?
Could you give me ballpark figure of how much it would cost to put a boiler on an outside wall? Our current boiler is very old and goes directly into the flue. It is situated in the kitchen and I would look at relocating it in the same room. TIA
Hi Bluemukka
obviously it's very difficult to give a price without actually seeing the job, but if you are purchasing a condensing boiler the boiler will set you back about 1000. add that to the additional work of relocating and installing it and you won't get much change out of 2500 as you will not be able to use the existing flue, you may need to put the boiler on an outside wall or an adjacent outside wall.
Hope this helps a little
Steve
P.S. Just make sure you use a CORGI Registered installer and check his Reg number with CORGI before you commit to any work. ( TOO many cowboys in this game )
