french scientist and subsonics
4 Answers
I recall dad telling me about a french sientist that was experimenting with subsonic sound. he turned on his equipment and the whole building began to shake. after so research they found that the sounds were entering the ventilation system and getting amplified causing the building to shake to the point that it could collapse.
having discovered this side effect he transfered out of paris and continued along this line of experiments but again he endangered the town as things turned out more powerful than expected. if i recall it was a tube system with compressed air blown into it. I think this may have come from a von daneken book and helps sway the possibility that the town of jerico that was "blown down by agels with trumpet" could of actually been destroyed with sub sonic sound. does anybody have any info on this ?

Interestingly low power infrasound has been associated with the feeling that something odd is happening around you, that might explain the ''unseen presence'' feelings which are noted in so called haunted houses and also bad feelings as storms approach see here for some info on this.
