Who makes JCB tools???

I know it sounds obvious but i have heard dewalt make jcb tools is this true???does anyone know just because they are both yellow???

There is no connection between DeWalt and JCB.

It is just that both companies have always used yellow for the cases of their machinery.

Maybe. DeWalt make tools, JCB make mechanical diggers. JCB have, over recent years, licenced out their brand name - you can see it on such things as boots and bicycles.

DeWalt do not make tools or machinery for any other company. The brand is so well known throughout the world that they have no need to do so.

Granted, JCB have licensed out certain products to other manufactures and they are a worldwide company. However, the reputation of DeWalt is second to none and they would not lower themselves to assemble lower quality components into casings for other manufacturers. You don't pay a small fortune for DeWalt tools for nothing.

DeWalt were on the scene manufacturing power tools long before JCB tried this venture.

There was a statement to this effect on the DeWalt website some time ago.
