My birthday Present

Its my b day today and my bf has bought me a nintendo ds with nintendogs game. i was wondering if any body had any tips/cheats etc for this as i've been on for an hour and my dog keeps forgetting his name an dit keeps telling me to call its name but i cant without the microphone icon appearing and can only get this up when the dog forgets its name again. Any help would be great

have u got to the point where youve had to type in the dogs name yet once youve done that it should rember it. if not until it gets to that point dont play with it or anything just keep concentrateing on learning the dog its name once thats done u type in its name then it rembers it then u start playin with it n whateva else. have fun!

ive typed the name in loadsa times and it keeps saying shout the dog so i do to remember its name then it goes back to square one and its forgot it again ahhhhhhh

katie- my son got this game for xmas and he's had the same problem the poor thing is covered in fleas and i will not remember its name.
