i noticed travelling in the traffic a cyclist with a specially designed buggy attached at the rear carrying a baby -is it illegal to use it on vehicle road space road ?

im a regular cyclist that has rode 1000s of miles on the roads and i would NEVER use anything like that to transport kids/babies around in. just the thought is enough to make me very uncomfortable.


but in this lovely country of ours, i would guess they are legal....
