how long do i have to wait to dye my hair wen iv just ahd it bleached?

hi there people , im wandering if you can help me? how long do u reackon ill have to wait to dye my hair (brown) when iv just had it bleached 4 days ago? The blonde doesnt suit me and is streaky, with brown and orange aswell! eek! really really would love to dye over it this instant! lol but wat do u reckon???

are u sure it was bleached? not just coloured? Who bleached it?

hi it was bleached by my hairdresser. i norm jus av highlights but coz iv ad them quite a few times. taught it mite b a good idea to av all over done. but it looks very diff lol Its deffo bleach hun even burnt my head! lol

whatever you do, you must NOT put a brown dye straight on top of the bleach. You have to put some red back into it first and then you can dye it brown.If you don't it will go green.

I didn't think a good hairdresser used bleach based colour products now.

dot, we use bleach all the time but if its being applied straight onto the scalp, it should be a special type of bleach that doesn't burn your scalp.We rarely do that sort of thing because it can be quite nasty, mainly use foils or a cap. I personally think all over bleaching can look awful if not done exactly right.

If it has not been done right you should go back to your hairdresser and let them know you are not happy, making sure to point out the brown and orange. A good hairdresser will try and sort it for you (Im assuming you didnt ask for orange and brown bits)
