you may find a far cheaper way to gain code on the net , its worth a try.

try e-bay item number

My local main dealer said that it would cost me 20 for them to get the code but it wasn't worth it as the code would probably not work. Quite a rip-off of customers who have bought their cars by Vauxhall who surely could do it cheaper and as a service to their customers than many places I have found on the net.

There are a few forums where members will provide the code free if you are lucky enough to post when they are about but I have had no luck down this avenue so far. I may as well buy a cheap 50 radio/CD unit to replace the radio/cassette than pay 20 to the main dealer.
