4 Leafed Clovers.
13 Answers
I have occasionally found a 'lucky' 4 leaf clover, but not often. One day I found a dozen or more in 5 minutes. This clover patch is right beside an old windmill; Do you think the 'fourness' of the windmill, affected the genetics of the clovers? Or is it 'just a coincidence'?

Ofcourse it is a genetic mutation. If you find some close together, wait untill they set seed and plant that in your garden next year. Changes are you'll grow quite a few four-leafed ones. Our local garden centre used to sell them in a pot.

So, I'm occassionaly flippant and ruin my credibility; can't help it.. But you didn't answer any of my question anyway Wildwood; Quid Rides? [Latin}. My question about the 'fourness' of the windmill (sails) affecting the genetics of the plants is completely serious, why should ley lines have all the head lines, and nothing for symmetry and chirality?
Anyway, Me having a laugh? Right, someone asked 'What is our national bird?'; 2 people said Samantha Fox, I said Wren. No Star for my correct answer, no response from the questioner at all in fact. So who's taking who for a ride? Then you got your Artex and Gravy salts and what-all. So If I'm too much sport or challenge, I'll move on if you want, Wildwood.
xy .i heard that when more women live together in more or less a close space they menstruate at the same time after a while.. your'e probably thinking "what do menstruating women with four leaved clover & windmills have in common" a mix question for body/soul/home/garden & how it works! to answer your main question "iduno"
:)
You didn't upset me Wildwood, at all. But it quite clearly says in your answer 'take us for a ride' Okay, job done; [no charge}.Your suggestion about growing them in my garden was cute too. And my fuse is as long as my love for Answerbankers. That's why I've been here for over a year without losing my rag, getting out of my tree, or going off my trolley. Peace.
As you know, in this forum it is often hard to transmit the spirit in which a question is answered or commented on (some smileys would certainly help). Sometimes it is taken up in a completely different context.
I can assure you I wasn't trying to be rude or personally offensive. I am as flippant as most on this site and have rarely replied in anger. Answering 'it is just a coincident' to your question would have been so boring. Peace to you too and I sincerely hope you have a nice day.

There is no causal connection between the genetic makeup of a plant and its entirely chance proximity to a non-nuclear installation! The seed the four leafed clover produces is likely to be four leafed and thus they spread. Incidentally my understanding of why women who live together tend to menstuate at the same time is that the hormonal production associated with menstruation influences the others, (by chemical, not mystical, means)bringing the times together over a period of time (pun very definitely intended).
Will you kids stop fighting?
The number of leaves on all plants apparently, falls in line with the fibonacci series, (as a rule of thumb) but i don't know why, and the scientist who explained this didn't know why either. Therefore it is common to find 2,3 or 5 leafed clover, but not 4. In answer to your question i therefore say it must be coincidence.

definately the 'fourness' of the windmill, combined with the energy from ley lines could deffinately effect the energy of the plants. Just today i found ten four leafed clovers in front of my house in a patch that contained 3,4, and 1 five leafed clovers, i feel that this is more than a mutation or an oddity.
