ideal c80ff combi boiler,heating works no hot water

Hi,I have an ideal c80ff combi boiler, the heating works fine but there's no hot water,I've tried running the tap for ages,turning all the rads up,I've tried leaving the heating on all day and then running the tap in the kitchen,all i get is a few seconds of hot water and then it runs cold.Can anyone help please?Thanks

sounds like it could be the diverter valve, unforunatly if it is it isn't something an amateur could do. your best bet is to get an engineer in.
