Problems with Motorola V3

I have had this phone for a few months and it's started playing up. On many occasion it fails to ring when someone is calling me but when I lift up the flip bit it says I have missed calls/voice mails. The same can be said for text messages. It doesn't beep to let me know I have a text message unless I happen to flip it open. Only then does it pop up on the screen. It doesn't happen all the time and I will contact Motorola about it. Just wanted to know if anyone had experienced similar problems?

Well I think you have been unlucky I know a lot of people who have them including myself and never had any problems. I am assuming everything is set correctly ....... I would contact your service provider and ask for a replacement it is clearly faulty.

i've had similar probelms. now and then the screen keeps flashing and freezing for no apparent reason. it also stoped sending and recieving text messages a few weeks ago. i had it repaired and the problem re-occured 2 weeks later, its currently in 4 repair yet again. As i didnt take out insurance on it,i've been told that it has to be sent off for reapir 3 times before i can exhange my phone even though its within its warrenty, which i think is a complete joke, as motorola clearly have serious problems with this phone!

If you go on th o2 website they have reviews of all phones, and so many people have experienced these problems 2.
