i have just returned from holiday and have taken dvd footage,but need to put it on video for my mother as she hasent got a dvd player,i have a combi dvd/video player,can i transfer it over on my machine

I would imagine it would be a fairly easy process, so long as you have a facility for recording from the DVD side of the combi to the VCR. It would also depend on what format the DVD has been recorded in.


I have a mini DV camcorder and transfer any recordings to video tape with a lead connected to my VCR.


Have a good look at your manual for the combi and see what it says.


If you can't resolve the issue, put another posting on here and I will see what I can do to help you further.

check the manual of your vcr-dvd unit!


should be a case of playing the dvd then pressign record on the vcr. may be a 'transfer' 'copy ( or similar) button.

Why not buy a player for her? about �18 in Tesco!
