Satellite set-up

Hi! We have just bought another satellite dish to connect to another tv. We just can't get a signal and the World Cup starts today! Is it more than just satellite into digi-box then tv? Keep wondering if we doing something really stupid. The other one we have was so easy, this one is a nightmare.

If you are trying to catch the Astra satellites then you need to make sure the dish is pointed in the right direction and inclination. Then it should just be a case of tuning in the channels using the sky remote using the right frequencies.

Why didn't you just buy a quad LNB and use the same dish?

I am now wishing that we had bought quad lnb ! people here told us they didn't work well. We have managed to get a signal but we can't get channels now! It says "no satellite signal received". Will try again tomorrow...........and the next day....... Thanks for reply.

If you were in norfolk could help ya,but you really need a digi-meter to line up,even 2 ml out will knock your signal!!
