Im fed up of them getting all tangled are there any audio, roadie people out there which know of a website showing me how to tie up guiatar or any cable for that matter so that they can be easily stored and easily pulled out again?

When you coil it up leave the ends hanging and wrap with a velcro strap?

If you practicing in your bedroom then use a short spring coil lead (Like the one that goes to your telephone handset) no tangles but best of all they prevent you from stepping on the cable and ripping out the ends!

When it got to the stage of having a dozen or so guitar leads, always tangled up etc, I borrowed the garden hose reel and wrapped them around that. Bulky but it works.
There isn't really a proper way to tie up leads, just keep them as loose as possible with no knots.

not pefect, but what is? ...but the best way I've found (because it's quick and effective) is to take one end of the lead, letting about one foot six dangle, begin looping the rest of the lead to about nine inch diameter loops and until you arrive towards the other end of the lead, again stop in time to have about one foot six remaining. The two one foot six can then, one at a time, just be thrown through the looped cable four or five times each and they are o.k. and secure enough to share a bag or case 'til the next gig and you'll find you can then pick them out one at a time without them becoming tangled with each other. Try it , good luck.

cheers dyli795 just the answer i was looking for and i shall use it for all my guitar cables. I also thought of a idea myslef for storing cables at home. If your wardrobe has a trouser rack use it to thread the wires thorugh
