Help -Bank address/phone number from sort code?

Hello,
I would be most grateful if somebody could please help me to contact an unknown bank via just the sort code? I am in an unfortunate position where somebody is attempting to setup a bank account in somebody else's name, but at my home address. I have intercepted some of his mail sent to my house and only have the sort code. I need to act urgently to prevent a potential fraud occuring. Please could somebody help...the sort code is 204018 regards, Rob

Or you could ask your own bank.

Surely if you have intercepted the mail - one of the letters will have the banks name on it. Anyway, I think barclays start with a 20

Thanks for your valued help. I got the sort code and account number off a mobile phone account letter from O2 - he had setup a phone account at my address and I was concerned the bank account mentioned in relation to the direct debit payments were linked to my address. It is a Barclay's account.
