I'm new to the world of Mp3. I would like to download tracks for my player,from albums by artists i have heard of. Can anyone help?

I can only suggest you install WinMX (www.zdnet.com) and in the search window type in the artist to get everything that artist has done that's available, or be more specific and include the track title as well
Or try www.kazaa.com and download their peer to peer software and do as worker suggests
....or you could buy or borrow or use your existing CDs to turn them into mp3 tracks and download them onto your player. There are plenty of software packages that will do that - Musicmatch being one.
You can even google webradio stations and record off your soundcard.
