This is just one of those annoying things that Ive so far not found an answer to.
I have a Panasonic Quintix tv. It always starts up on terrestrial channel 1. This was fine when we had a terrestrial aerial but not so much now we dont.
Is there any way I can get the tv to startup on AV so I dont have to mess about with multiple remotes.

This used to be controlled by a reset contact on the mains switch, so you could get a TV engineer to disconnect it. The tv should then come on the same channel as was last being watched. I'm not aware of any user function to do this.
presumably you have satellite or freeview or Cable. Anyone of those should have an RF out so you can feed the cable into the normal areil socket, then tune the TV so that Channel 1 receives the input.
