Hope someone understands this my daughter left some batteries in a remote controller, The acid leaked and erroded the springs that hold the + and - connection i have worked around it by putting metal springs in off of a plate hanger, But can anyone tell us what those springs are called and am i able to buy new connection thingys

I know its a long shot in understanding this!!!

depends on manufacturer, model #

In the end a new remote may be as cost effective, but seems to me you already have the "problem solved".
