Help! Crystal reports / MS Excel / MS Access
2 Answers
Bit of a pickle!
I'm trying to export data from Crystal Reports to Excel then use Access to import from Excel.
The Crystal report has over 85,000 records but Excel only allows 65,585ish records on sheet 1 and the rest on sheet 2.
Access only looks for data in one of the sheets, thus not importing all the data
How can I get the 85,000 into Access from Excel?
Can I get data straight from Crystal to Access.
Should I choose an alternative to Excel, and if so, what type of file?

Crystal Reports is a report writer and the data it is using must in a database (SQL Server for example).
Would it not be easier to move the data from the underlying database (SQL Server for example) direct to Access.
Why do you need to have Crystal Reports in the picture at all ?
