coffee machine

Bought a really cheap coffee machine from ebay for about �10 last year which has now (unsuprisingly) given up the ghost. But I know want to replace it and have no idea who the good brands are.

So, Can anyone suggest a good one; needs to make coffee from bean or ground, have a frother and ideally have a self cleaning function. Would be nice if it was modern looking too.

if you have any suggestions and can remember what you paid for it, that would be handy too.

Gaggia are the ultimate in coffee machines.....however they tend to be pricey.
