If you answer a thread (or post a question) you get an email notification. Anyway, there are a lot of regulars here who dip in and out and don't necessarily need to be told by email because they check on what's new.

i understand what you mean postdog but i might want to get a debate/conversation going with the person who answer my question. or dont the AB allow that?
You can debate as much as you like but that doesn't mean to say others will want to join in.There are no guarantees that people will look back at threads to see if they have been thanked or not..
I often answer questions and never bother to look at them again.
You can look at all your questions and answers in" My Profile" and keep a check on your Q's and any answers you may have by looking in "My Questions".
As Postdog says you will get Email notifications anyway if anything has been added to threads you are invoved in.You need to "Subscribe to Question " though.
